Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
