The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
