The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
