The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
