The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
