The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
