The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
