The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
