The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
