Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
