The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
