The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
