The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
