Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
