The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
