The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
