The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
