The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
