The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
