Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
