The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
