The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
