Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
