The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
