The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
