The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
