The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
