The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
