The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
