The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
