The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
