The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
