The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
