The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
