The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
