The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
