The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
