The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
