Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
