The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
