Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
