Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
