The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
