The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
