The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
