The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
