The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
