The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
