The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
