The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
